Pagers

Communicating when it really counts

And yes, it still exists! For some it’s a pager, for others it’s a beeper; one thing is certain, the pager follows you everywhere, at all times, and remains constantly available to receive messages. It also covers a larger area than cellphones, is faster for reaching several team members at the same time during emergencies and allows for better penetration within buildings.

Methods of sending messages

Telephone

Simply call the pager number and leave a numerical message only. For example, leave the number where you want to be called back.

Modem

We support TAP protocol. The information needed to configure your equipment is available here (available in French version only).

Web

See the bottom of this website for the Send a Pager Message section.

Email

The advantage of this service compared to sending messages by modem is that the transmission time is reduced by several seconds. Your alphanumeric access automatically gives you access to this service. Just send an email to 844XXXXXXX@pagers.tde.ca.

Protocole SNPP

This type of software allows you to send alphanumeric messages from a list of contacts configured on your computer. You can download our free NPS software, which allows you to create your own groups and preprogramed messages.
